Sudah berjuta2 kali saya menekan 3 digit nomor layanan bebas bayar untuk mengeluhkan sebuah masalah jasa paket provider saya yang tak kunjung tersambung. Lama nian saya menunggu, dan sang robot hanya bilang,
"Maaf Customer kami sedang melayani pelanggan lain, silahkan menelfon beberapa saat lagi."

Okay then, I'll wait dan saya menekan 3 digit itu lagi. Namun kali ini berbeda, saya iseng-iseng aja, menekan angka 1, untuk layanan dalam bahasa asing. lalu tiba-tiba.... TERENGGGG. Tanpa menunggu lama, orang sana langsung menjawab dengan bahasa asing tersebut dan saya meladeninya. Setelah berbincang dengan sang operator yang bahasa asingnya juga gk jelas2 banget, saya langsung komen ke si pacar.

me : "Parah yah, mereka sangka aku expatriate kali yah, makanya langsung dilayanin."
dia : "kalo ak jadi kamu mah, ak langsung ngomong bahasa indonesia aja."
me : "Gk enak lah, abisan dia juga langsung greet pakai bahasa asing, jadi spontan."

Dua hari berikutnya, which is just now, provider saya kena masalah lagi karena saya gk bisa menerima email. Akhirnya si pacarlah yg menelfon dengan memencet nomor 1 ke menu bahasa asing. Lalu benar sebenar benarnya benar. Langsung aja lochhhcchhh di angkat dan menyapa dengan bahasa asing.
opreetter : " Good...bla bla bla."
dia : "Oh mas saya pakai bahasa indonesia aja."
opreetter : "If you speak bahasa, i'll connect with you with .. bla bla."
dia : dengan bahasa mulut ( T*I)

Ahh.. luchu banget yah, gk akan pernah maju nih bangsa, kalau kitanya sendiri gk pernah menghargai diri kita sendiri, menghargai bangsa sendiri. Payah.. payah.. payaahhhhhhhh... ><

-Bapa2 tem-an angkot biru semakin hari semakin kurus, perutnya juga udah semakin membesar, kaya orang hamil. Pa, udah dong berhenti ngerokoknya, istirahat dulu kerjanya. Bapa kan sakit, ke dokter lah. Hmm, andai bisa berucap seperti itu ke dia yg saya tidak kenal. :(
- Lagi2, karena pertengkaran orang tua, anak ini dikorbankan. Matanya sembab tak karuan. Tuhan lindungi dia Tuhan. Berikalah dia yang terbaik Tuhan. Tuhan terangilah hati dan pikiran mereka, sehingga mereka lebih melihat masa depan anak mereka yang masih panjang dan cerah dibandingkan hanya untuk kepentinga mereka masing2 dan keegoisan mereka yang semata2 membutakan hati.
- Senang melihat perubahan dari mereka. Setidaknya mereka berubah walau sedikit. Menjadi semangat, menjadi fokus, menjadi tenang dan tidak sengit terus.
- Sudah belajar menerima kebohongan kecil. Kebohongan-kebohongan kecil yang seseorang buat adalah kesempatan yg tepat untuk 'mengolok2 mereka' dengan gamblang. hehehe. Yeps, karena sudah mengenal mereka dengan baik, saya tahu dan tidak pernah lg saya masukkan ke hati seperti yg sebelumnya saya lakukan.
- Bentar lagi garage sale pertamaya blankiehang. Puji Tuhan, bahkan sebelum garage sale tiba pun, udah banyak yg sold. Termasuk baju ms.hunz saya yg terakhir. Siap2 untuk project ms.hunz berikutnya nih. :)

A roof top was a little part of my house that my sisters and I fav about. We used to sing together, playing guitar, sharing our thoughts, seeing birds, playing kite, joking, laughing and sometimes crying. :) Though my sisters and I grew, I do still love the spot, love to lay down and to see the gorgeous sky up there, It's like I'm seeing a planet outside the earth. ^^. The greatness of having holidays is that you don't have limited time to watch till the morning come. I again watched "Rembering the Titans" and it shed me to tears as maybe you guys do. Love the lessons and the motivations the players given, especially the coaches and Gerry. It was such beautiful when a real story filmed on the screen. It gave us, the watchers, a valuable and memorable experiences of life though only by watching it.

I always love love sport movies. Because in sport I can see togetherness, discipline, hard work, love, passion, dreams, happiness and toughness. The games of winning or loosing somehow drag me to a conclusion of the real winning or loosing in Life. Besides 'Remembering the Titans', I do love 'The Coach', especially with that memorable statements that Timo said to the coach written by Marianne Williamson, the author of A Return to Love. The bold statement inspired me so that i put those words as the front cover of my journal in my college years.

I really love taking pictures, you can tell, and I feel so extremely challenged when I have to take one-time-shot; like journal photos, spontaneous pictures, moving objects; with a good sense of timing.

1. Little hands who pray

Marlyn is her name. She's such a cute,nice,smart little girl. Though she is still 10 years old, she's not affraid to join us, to read bibble, to sing in front of us. :)

2. Serious baby boy.. :)

This is Natan, Marlyn's little brother. Look! the way he prays, as if he had a really serious burden inside or he had his own prayer to God. Just like his big sister, Natan is so cute cute anddd cuteee. :)

Bang Mika gave the concept..He wanted me to capture him as if he was walking on the water, I believe God inspired him.. :)

4. Playing Futsal on the Water

Albert is the real keeper, I asked him to act like he was catching the ball.. Oopps.. but he missed it.. ^^

This is Taruna, he is a striker, he always has that loud kick though often missed too.. :)

Anggur or Grape or Lia is her name.. :) This is the first jump of her into the water. So the effect from dry to wet make her like going to another time machine.:)

Rangkuman Pengetahuan Umum Lengkap atawa RPUL adalah buku favorit gw saat duduk di bangku Sekolah Dasar. Alasanya? Karena dengan satu buku itu aja gw bawa kemana2 , serasa gw tuh pinternya minta ampun. Semua soal and semua pertanyaan yang dipelajari waktu itu tinggal di cari di sana dan Voila! selalu aja nemuin jawabannya..

Dan kebahagiaan itu terulang lagi saat gw mendapatkan sebuah buku tua yang tercipta saat gw baru berumur 3 tahun. Yeps, Buku Pintar Wanita yang diterbitkan tahun 1989 ini adalah punya mamahnya si pacar yang dihibahkan ke gw (she's always nice). Dengan harapan gw gk bego2 amat kalo ditanya tentang serba serbi kewanitaan. ^^. Keren keren kerenn pokoknya kerenn isinya. Dengan hanya megang satu buku itu aja gw bisa menjelaskan semuanya tentang hal-hal kewanitaan. Anehnya semua yg ditulis di sana berasa update sampe sekarang. :)

Dari hal kecil kaya gimana milih sisir rambut yang benar, bikin masker and peeling tradisional, bikin bedak sendiri, nanggulangin masalah permontiran, gimana jadi cewe pinter yang bener2 pinter, teknik teknik menangani cowo brengsek, hal menyusui, KB, dll.

Photography Makes Easy with Jerry Aurum

It was a superb fun weekend together with 200 photographers, we enjoyed the cool one-day seminar with the one and only Mr. Jerry Aurum. Supported by some big sponsors as Panasonic, Stuff Magazine, Primaimagiing, Episentrum Walk, and Tommy Hilfiger we were pleased with such a nice atmosphere and service by spending only Rp.65,000,-. We got brunch, lunch, performance by Cherrybelle, goodies bag by sponsors, a cool host, a great Speaker and not forget to mention the huge total prize of 18 million rupiahs. Gee, what a seminar! Standing applause. :)

The first time I saw this man was on O'Channel years ago,as i recall it's about some kind of wedding photography I guess. My bf who was also the participants told me that the way Jerry explained the concept of photography was suit me. It was very simple but with some visual evidence, which was so very me. :). He opened up some tips and trick for us. Some of them i directly try it. :)

Situasi 2: Setengah perjalanan berlalu, ada penumpang yang sepertinya terlihat akan naik. Si Bapak supir ini mulai meminggirkan angkotnya, namun setelah di tunggu si penumpang tak jadi kunjung dateng. Dengan nada datar dia menyeletuk.
"Et dah ubur-ubur."

How come he chose squirrel from so many2 animals in this world? I started to giggle.

Situasi 3 : Seorang penumpang lagi ingin naik.
"Ayo yang cantik di geser geser."
After that He said.
"Ya cantik2 semua berarti."

He's so nice, huh?

Situasi 4 : Saat sedang macet2nya ada seorang preman yang datang menghampiri si pa supir dan dia sepertinya mengenali si pa supir.
Preman : Woiy Mar.. Apa kabar?
Pa supir (mar) : Gw udah gk ngerokok lagi.
Preman : Mau ngopi gw mar. seribu aja.
Pa supir (mar) : (memberikan selembar duit Rp.1000)
setelah preman menghilang kembali dia menyeletuk:
"Gak mati2 lagi tuh orang"
LOL!

Situasi 5 : Si bapak berhenti sebentar mau beli rokok di toko kelontong kecil pinggir jalan.
"Bang Jarum bang, gk pake benang."
??????

My youth is in 90's, and i think musics from 50's-90's are everlasting not like todays that the changes of musics/songs or even favorite artists is in every minutes and second of times. A true story by Vic Gundotra:
One Sunday morning, January 6th, 2008 I was attending religious services when my cell phone vibrated. As discreetly as possible, I checked the phone and noticed that my phone said "Caller ID unknown". I choose to ignore.

After services, as I was walking to my car with my family, I checked my cell phone messages. The message left was from Steve Jobs. "Vic, can you call me at home? I have something urgent to discuss" it said.

Before I even reached my car, I called Steve Jobs back. I was responsible for all mobile applications at Google, and in that role, had regular dealings with Steve. It was one of the perks of the job.

"Hey Steve - this is Vic", I said. "I'm sorry I didn't answer your call earlier. I was in religious services, and the caller ID said unknown, so I didn't pick up".

Steve laughed. He said, "Vic, unless the Caller ID said 'GOD', you should never pick up during services".

I laughed nervously. After all, while it was customary for Steve to call during the week upset about something, it was unusual for him to call me on Sunday and ask me to call his home. I wondered what was so important?

"So Vic, we have an urgent issue, one that I need addressed right away. I've already assigned someone from my team to help you, and I hope you can fix this tomorrow" said Steve.

"I've been looking at the Google logo on the iPhone and I'm not happy with the icon. The second O in Google doesn't have the right yellow gradient. It's just wrong and I'm going to have Greg fix it tomorrow. Is that okay with you?"

Of course this was okay with me. A few minutes later on that Sunday I received an email from Steve with the subject "Icon Ambulance". The email directed me to work with Greg Christie to fix the icon.

Since I was 11 years old and fell in love with an Apple II, I have dozens of stories to tell about Apple products. They have been a part of my life for decades. Even when I worked for 15 years for Bill Gates at Microsoft, I had a huge admiration for Steve and what Apple had produced.

But in the end, when I think about leadership, passion and attention to detail, I think back to the call I received from Steve Jobs on a Sunday morning in January. It was a lesson I'll never forget. CEOs should care about details. Even shades of yellow. On a Sunday.

To one of the greatest leaders I've ever met, my prayers and hopes are with you Steve.

Been away to Semarang for a couple of days with others colleague..Went to such many places in Semarang. Wisata Pemandian Air Panas Guci, Pekalongan, Klenteng Samphokong, Goa Kerep, Lawang Sewu, Candi Gedong Songo, Pandaranan, Agro Wisata, and Ambarawa. I took hundreds of pictures of the trip and here are some that i like the most. :). Having a trip with a bus and seeing so many beautiful views reminds me that my country is so naturally rich. That's no doubt why many tourists love to come to travel here. Ohyah guys have you been to Lawang Sewu? Gee, that's definitely100% a haunted place for sure. Some of the young teachers went to Uji Nyali, while me? decided just to stay out from that terrible zone. But if you have the guts, that place offer you may challenges. hehe. That was the first time of me went to Semarang, hope that I could first travel my own country then others, huhu, amenn. Hopefully my dream will come true so that I can love Indonesia even better. :)

Yesteday I went to Gandaria City to with my bf, as always he likes to keep me waiting for his lateness. ZZzz.. Good for me, waiting for him I watched this Korea-Indonesia week event there,and as always, I took pictures of them. Well, it's quite fun, though the dancing competition was a little bit boring. Boo. hehe. Not that long, he suddenly came and was so excited to see the show. Golly, lately he is a Korean-minded. He borrowed my City Hunter's dvds and finished it before me. He even texted me once and told me that Lee minho's blazer and shoes are just like his. Whoaamm. So, after seeing the show I said to him this :

Me : "Awas aja nanti kamu operasi2 muka kamu, kecilin rahang kamu, hidung di mancungin, pakai celana gantung, pakai blazer kaos dalemanya kutang tipis mirip daleman cewe, dll.."

Bf : "Hehehehe..."

Do you believe that once my phone was closely being robbed intentionally by the motorcycle driver as he looked at me capturing inside the running bajaj (a-red-traditioonaly-old trasnportation) . LOL. It was a tense 10 minutes of me and him pulling each other! Phew Thanks God! he failed and I was so relieeff that my phone was saved. hehe. I like to imagine that someday I will have one of those, a house, shop, restaurant, bookstore, library that I designed myself. :). This is one is my very first interior designed I made. Yipiee.
